Mrs. Michelle Roth

TEACHER GRADES 1-2

 

Mrs. Michelle Roth was born and raised in Apple Valley, MN.  She is the third of four daughters born to Gary and Betty Herman.  Good Shepherd Lutheran in Burnsville, MN was her home church and where she went to grade school.  She attended St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul, MN and graduated from there in 1994.  Mrs. Roth continued her education at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN where she graduated in 1998 with Bachelor's Degree in Education.  She was assigned to teach grades K-8 at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Ceder Rapids, IA.  In June of 1999, she married Ryan Roth.  They spent 8 years in Williamston, MI where Ryan had been assigned to teach at Memorial Lutheran.  During their time there the Lord blessed them with their son, in 2001.  In 2007 her husband accepted a Call to St. Peter's Lutheran in Plymouth, MI.  In 2008 Mrs. Roth received and accepted a Call to teach Kindergarten at St. Peters.  In the spring of 2013 her husband received and accepted a Call to Holy Trinity Lutheran in New Hope, MN.  During her 4 years there, Mrs. Roth had different teaching opportunities that included Infant Lead Teacher, grades 3-8 Language Arts Teacher, and Kindergarten Teacher.  After 4 years the Lord extended a Call to her husband that would have Mrs. Roth and her family moving back to Michigan.  In June of 2017 Mrs. Roth received and accepted the Call to teach grades 1-2 at Zion Lutheran.

Mrs. Roth enjoys going for long walks, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her husband, Ryan, teaches at Peace Lutheran in Livonia, Michigan.
