Mrs. Deanna Schneck
Mrs. Deanna Schneck grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. She attended Shoreland Lutheran High School and graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1990. That year, she married Bryan Schneck and joined him as they moved to Antigua, West Indies where she raised their four children as well as taught in the elementary level, gave piano lessons, and conducted the junior choir at St. John's Lutheran Primary School. While living in Antigua, she and her husband raised four children. In 2004, the Schneck family moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where Deanna taught Kindergarten at Faith Lutheran School where her husband served as principal. In 2016, Deanna and Bryan moved to Monroe, Michigan, where Deanna first served as preschool director and lead teacher at Peace Lutheran Preschool in Livonia, Michigan. In 2020, Deanna accepted the call to become director and lead teacher at here at Zion Lutheran Preschool.
Deanna holds her state licensure in both Minnesota and Michigan and loves to involve her students in messy, hands-on learning through play!
Bryan and Deanna are the parents of four grown children, three of whom still live in Alaska and one who lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In her spare time, Deanna loves to travel, hike and read (alot!).
