Mr. Ryan Roth

Mr. Ryan Roth joined Zion's faculty as grades 3-5 teacher and athletic director in July of 2021. He grew up in Fort Atkinson, WI and first went to college as an accounting major before switching to Christian Education, graduating in 1999 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He is currently certified in Michigan in Elementary Education and Secondary Mathematics.

Since graduating Mr. Roth has served as grade 3-6 teacher and athletic director at Memorial Lutheran School in Willimaston, Michigan for eight years; as grade 7-8 teacher, athletic director and principal at St. Peter's Lutheran School in Plymouth, Michigan for six years; as grade 6-8 teacher, athletic director and principal at Holy Trinity Lutheran School in New Hope, Minnesota for four years; as grade K-2 teacher and athletic director at Zion Lutheran School in Toledo, Ohio for three years; and as grades 1-2 teacher at Peace Lutheran School in Livonia, Michigan for one year; then finally here at Zion, Monroe. Mr. Roth brings with him a wealth of experience in a variety of grades as well as in athletics and coaching.

Mr. Roth is married to fellow teacher Michelle Roth. They have one son. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family as well as enjoying sports of all kinds, especially basketball, golf, NASCAR, and video games, and is a big Green Bay Packer fan.
