Senior Pastor
Pastor Ulrich was born in Dodgeville, WI, was baptized in 1955 and confirmed in 1969. He graduated from high school in 1973. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979. Pastor attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI and served as vicar at St. John, Markesan,, WI. In 1983 he earned his Master of Arts degree. He has served as pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, FL; Hope Lutheran Church, St. Charles, MI; Zion Lutheran Church in Denver, CO and served Zion of Monroe since 2002. In 1980, Pastor Ulrich married Cyndra Shackley and has two daughters. He enjoys reading, outdoor activities , exercising and deer hunting.
Associate Pastor
Pastor was born in Viroqua, WI. He grew up in Milwaukee where he attended Centennial Lutheran Grade School, Wisconsin Lutheran High School and the University of Wisconsin. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 1974. He taught for 4 1/2 years until the spring of 1979 when the Lord led him to begin studying for the preaching ministry. He attended Bethany Lutheran College for two years then transferred to Wisconsion Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He vicored at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI. In May, 1985 he served as a tutor at Nebraska Lutheran High School in Wwaco, NE. In May, 1986 he came to Zion, Monroe where he has served faithfully for 24 years.
Office Manager and Secretary
Mrs. Moore was born in Monroe where she attended Zion Lutheran School as did her two children and her mother. In 1978, she married her husband Gary. In 1999, she began working at Zion part-time then in 2002 she began full-time. Mrs. Moore loves all sorts of crafts, especially sewing and knitting, and trying new craft projects. She spends her free time at either her parents' vacation home in Florida or at the family cabin in northern Michigan.

Mr. Kleinke began teaching at Zion in 2009. Mr. Kleinke grew up in Bay City, MI. He attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, MI for high school and moved on to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN where he studied in the area of Life Science/Elementary Education . In addition to his teaching and administrative duties, Mr. Kleinke coaches boys basketball, soccer, and track, and plays organ. Mr. Kleinke enjoys reading, art, playing sports, and working around the house.

Mr. Tomczak was born in Saginaw, MI. He attended high school at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw then Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education. He furthered his education at Michigan State University with a Mastor of Arts in Education. From 1973 until 1979, he taught at Pilgrim Lutheran School in Minneapolis, MN. In 1979, he came to Zion of Monroe. He married his wife Kristine, in 1973, and has one son, Pastor Benjamin Tomczak. His son married a former Zion Teacher, Kristen Scharf, and they have two wonderful children.

Mrs. LaPointe was born in Hustisford, WI. She attended Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI graduating in 1997. In December 2001 she graduated from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN. After graduation, Mrs. LaPointe came to Zion of Monroe where she taught Pre-school, Kindergarten and school music for four years after which she began teaching the 3rd and 4th grade. In 2007, she married her husband, David, a corrections officer in Toledo, OH. She enjoys crafting and reading (especially Roald Dahl).

Mrs. Vitale was born in Owosso, MI. She grew up in New Ulm, MN. She attended high school at Dr. Martin Luther High School and college at Dr. Martin Luther College both in New Ulm, MN. When she graduated in 1968 she was assigned to Zion of Monroe. She received her Master of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan Unversity in 1973. In 1971, she married her husband Russell. They have two daughters, Anne (Scott) Miller and Kate (Josh) Wakefield and five grandchildren.

Miss Belz grew up in Stanton, Nebraska. She attended Stanton High School and graduated in 2001. After high school, she then attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. She graduated college in 2006 and was assigned to Zion to teach preschool, kindergarten, and school music. Miss Belz loves reading, doodling, and the color green.
